Reduce overhead costs, improve building health & comfort, and reduce your building’s environmental impact!
What is a Commercial Energy Audit?
An energy audit for your commercial building is a critical step on the path to reduced energy costs, improved building health and comfort, and improved environmental performance. During the audit, we will evaluate your building for signs of energy waste, offering a detailed plan of attack for how best to improve the energy efficiency of your building.
What Are the Benefits?
The purpose of the commercial energy audit is to provide an in-depth look at how your building uses energy, and a plan for improving energy performance. If you choose to follow through with the recommended work – which may include anything from sealing leaky ducts, to improving insulation, to windows and doors, and more – there are a number of benefits. These include, but are not limited to:
- Reduced energy costs
- Increased profits
- Improved environmental performance
- Lower carbon footprint
- Healthier indoor air quality
- A more durable and sustainable building
How Does it Work?
One of our BPI-trained building energy consultants will evaluate your commercial property from an energy standpoint, looking at exterior and interior details. We’ll use advanced diagnostic equipment including blower doors to measure airflow and infrared thermal imaging equipment to identify problem areas. At the end of the audit, you will receive a detailed report that describes your building’s energy consumption and where the most cost-effective improvements could be made.
