Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® is a national program from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department Of Energy, offering a comprehensive, whole-house approach to improving energy efficiency and comfort at home, while helping to protect the environment. BrightHome participates in the NYSERDA sponsored Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program that helps you cost-effectively improve your home's energy efficiency.
EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm
The Environmental Protection Agency has trained and certified BrightHome, as a firm, to safely perform activities such as sanding, cutting, and demolition to prevent lead contamination that may be harmful to children and adults. Under a rule issued by the EPA, beginning April 22, 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.

Building Performance Contractors Association of New York
The Building Performance Contractors Association of New York State (BPCA/NYS), is a not-for-profit statewide trade association of more than 200 building performance contractors, home energy raters, building diagnosticians, energy auditors, engineers, architects and consultants. BPCA/NYS strives for the application of high building standards in comprehensive building performance evaluations for existing homes.
New Jersey Clean Energy Program
New Jersey's Clean Energy Program (NJCEP) promotes increased energy efficiency and the use of clean, renewable sources of energy. The results for New Jersey are a stronger economy, less pollution, and lower costs. NJCEP offers financial incentives, programs, and services for residential, commercial, and municipal customers.
