Jay Latella

Energy Savings Consultant

Jay Latella, our heating and cooling specialist, has more than 24 years experience in commercial and residential HVAC sales and service. Jay is HVAC certified by the Building Performance Institute as a Building Analyst, Building Envelope Specialist and heating and Cooling Professional. With Jay’s “house as a system” perspective, he has a unique ability to recommend the proper heating and cooling system to make you more comfortable and more energy efficient.

Tom Brown

Energy Savings Consultant

Tom Brown, our lead auditor, is certified as a Building Analyst and also as a Building Envelope Specialist by the Building Performance Institute. Tom has more than five years experience in home construction and remodeling, and has performed hundreds of comprehensive home energy assessments in homes just like yours in the New York area. Tom is passionate in making your home energy efficient and more comfortable while saving you money.

Andrew Fischer

Energy Savings Consultant

Andrew Fischer and is a BPI Certified Building Analyst. He has performed more than 180 energy audits and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity.

Andrew has been trained and certified by Apricus, Sunda and Enerworks for solar thermal water heating, Uni-solar Ovanics for solar power installation, American Lung Association for health house inspection, National Comfort Institute for air balancing & diagnostics, Field Controls for combustion air diagnostics, RESNET for training and testing HERS Rating and ASHRAE/NYSERDA for designing energy efficient data centers.

Ed Schwartz

General Manager, BrightHome New Jersey

Edward Schwartz is the co-founder of Green Living Solutions and partner in BrightHome Energy Solutions, NJ. As a Certified Energy Professional and Sustainability Consultant he serves residential, business and municipal communities. “Eco-Ed” works with homeowners, builders and architects to provide energy audits, sustainability analyses, and he selects and implements sustainable building materials and technologies during renovations and new construction.

Ed serves as the Coordinator of Sustainable Energy for the North Jersey Chapter of the Sierra Club, and is certified by the Clean Energy Program and the Building Performance Institute. He is currently restoring his own historical pre-revolutionary home using energy saving methods and sustainable practices, and writes guidelines for local Historical Preservation Societies for renovations using sustainable practices.

Joe has more than 30 years of experience of senior management leadership, investing, acquiring and growing companies in a variety of service and commercial industries. Joe’s companies continually excel in customer service.

Gordon Beittenmiller

Executive Vice President

Gordie has more than 20 years of senior management experience as a Chief Financial Officer or Chief Executive Officer of both privately held and publicly traded companies. Gordie was a member of the founding management team of one of the largest HVAC installation and service companies in the country.

Michael Brown

Chief Operating Officer

Mike brings more than 20 years of retail and service industry experience as a senior operations executive of both privately held and publicly traded companies. Mike has been certified as a Building Analyst and a Building Envelope Specialist by the Building Performance Institute.
